Sick and tired of being sick and tired . . .

So, FINALLY I just had to get one of the bugs the kids have been sharing!!! WHY?????!!!??? I am such a baby when it comes to being sick!!! I stopped by the lab at our doctor's office and had them do a strep culture on me to see if I had strep throat. The test came back negative, but I am CONVINCED that it was a false negative! Wednesday night I called a friend of mine who is a doctor and she called me in a prescription! PRAISE THE LORD! I finally got it after some haggling with the pharmacy and took my first dose at about 3 PM on Thursday, but not before my temp spiked to 104! OK, it is one thing to be sick and not feel good, but to have a temp that high?? I just don't have time for this kind of stuff!! So off to bed I went and stayed there pretty much all day yesterday! Temp only got to 101 yesterday so I guess the antibiotics must be working, but my throat still feels like I swallowed a handful of glass and it cut it to bits! Then to top it off last night Shelby wakes up crying for about 3 hrs because she has an earache!! So call the pediatrician and good thing Dr. Lee was on call this weekend! He phoned in a prescription for her. Tate left for Washington on Wednesday afternoon with his Choir from school and will be back Sunday! I cannot wait to hear how his trip went! It seems quiet around the house ~ and I always thought Josiah was the one who was noisy! : ) Well, I am back to work today (Thanks for watching the store yesterday dad!!) but still not feeling quite up to par yet . . . I cannot wait until spring and we can open the windows and get all the stale bugs and germs out of the house and hopefully all be well again! It seems like we have been sick for MONTHS!! Oh wait! It has been since December, so I guess it has been months! : ( Please pray for healing for our family and that we will be protected from any more germs and bugs so we don't get sick. Shawn has been the only one protected thus far, PRAISE the LORD!!! Please continue to pray for protection for him. Thanks!!

ELCA Auction

Friday night Shawn and the boys took off with Kory Bates and his 2 boys to set up the East Linn Christian Academy Auction display at the Heritage Mall in Albany. Kory got this great picture of the boys trying to be window "models" in front of the display! It looks like they had fun and from what I can see of the display it looks great!
